Lindsey writes the following about Corrie ten Boom :

This book was about a courageous woman named Corrie ten Boom, who had spent years of her life in concentration camps, jails, and wandering around hopeless. After these terrible places and experiences, she went preaching, with all of her heart, all around the world, opening the door of freedom through the Lord, to those who are in darkness. She shares these awfully intense stories to relate with people who are going through hard times. Throughout her journeys, God provides her with the money to do his ministry, gives her the necessities, and shows her amazing miracles. I totally would recommend this book. It shows that "I can do all things through God, who strengthens me."-Philippians 4:13
