Amanda King writes the following about The Dog Who Thought He Was Santa :
The Dog Who Thought He Was Santa by Bill Wallace is 184 pages. It is a feel good novel about a dog who tries to save Christmas for his family during hard times. The book is about a dog that is a bloodhound and what he thinks about Christmas. The book represents a dogís point of view in the family and you can tell when the dog is narrating in the book because there is bold text that tells what heís thinking about. At the end of the book their whole family starts fighting who did what but at the end they are able to work out their problems with each other. I thought that this book was very interesting because it gives a dogís and a kidís point of in the story. My favorite part of the book was in the end when they all are fighting and looking back and forth at each other until Don gets in trouble. But in the end they all realize how lucky they are even in hard circumstances.
