Caelyn Turner writes the following about Little House in the Big Woods :

I love this book. My favorite part is when the family goes to the store.The storekeeper gives Laura and Mary each one heart shaped candy that had some writing. Laura's said:sweets to the sweet.Mary's said: Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you. After they go to the store, Mary and Laura collect pebbles. When Laura got thrown into the wagon her pocket fell off and her pebbles scattered all over the wagon box.
