Loch is a fifteen year old boy with shaggy brown hair and green eyes who goes with his sister Zaidee and his father to search for the Lochness monster in Lake Alban. His father's boss, Anthony Cavenger decides to do the wrong thing and tries to get proof of the monster. One photographer before him dissapeared trying to find the Lockness and he wanted to be the first. Loch got his name from the children in the town of Inverness. Loch always thought nothing of the expedition's with his father until one day, the monster exposed itsself. Soon, Loch realizes that the only reason the monsters of the lake are hostile is to protect themselves from danger and threats. Loch risks his life his families and his friends trying to save the monsters of the lake and will do whatever he can to prevent them from being hurt, endangered, or photographed. He fears that if they are caught, they will be stuffed into museums and they will be no more. He fails to try and convince his dad of his bosses actions but when his mother was sick they lost alot of money and the relationship between him and his father was slowly lost.
