Ashley writes the following about Wonder :

Have you ever had a rough life? Rough enough to where you didn't have any friends? That's the way Jessica, the main character in the book "Wonder" by Rachel Vail, lives until she meets her secret crush, Conor. One day Conor called Jessica to ask about an assignment, but really he wanted to talk, but he was too shy. About a week later, Comor asked Jessica to go for a walk with him. She decided to go, and she had a great time. By that time, both of them liked each other, and they started going out. Jessica was asked by Conor to go to a party with him for Halloween, and she went. They had a great time because Jessica got a lot of new friends. The hardest part is yet to come. Jessica's new friends make her choose between Conor and them. Who will she choose? Who is more important?
