Phoebe V. writes the following about A Child Called It :

"A child called it" is a great book.It tells a story of how a little boy gets abused by his mom,and how he finds a way to survive those great challenges.This book will awaken you to the truth about child abuse,and the ability we all have to make a difference.I didn't like this book because it had bad language and that's why I rated it a nine instead of a ten.I liked this book because you don't know what is going to happen next.I also liked this book because it was so interesting about how the mom abused Dave.The way she did it made you fill so sorry for him,but still you kept reading because it was so interesting.I think if you like amotionall rollercoaster non-fiction books then you would like this book.
