kay writes the following about The Cage :

This book was very moving, I would say by far my favorite book. I now love reading books about the Holocaust and reading their history. Its absolutley terrible what happend to the jews. I give Ruth alot of credit writing this book, it must have taken alot to go back a remember all of the heartbreaking terrible things that happened. I think that all schools should read this book.
