Julia writes the following about Encounter :

Thia is a great book about Columbus and his trip that runs into Native Americans. A boy Native American has a dream about Columbusas a bad "Parrot" and try to worn his tribe but his tribe does not lisson to him. I think that this book is telling us that not to trust people by when you first meet them but trust people for what is inside "but not in this case".
