Half Magic is a book about four young children(Jane,Mark,Martha and Kathrine) who's life is dull. They don't go on summer vacations like their friends do. They sit at home on the porch reading fairytales and wishing their life was one to. One summer day when their mom Alison goes of to work and leaves them with Ms.Bick, their annoying housekeeper, They found a nickel on the sidewalk and pick it up.They go on many adventures before realizing that this was not any ordinary nickel, but an ancient nickel that can grant any wish. But only half... This book is creative and wonderful in every way.It is a great fantsasy book and I would reccomend it to anybody who had some time on thier time on their hands, and an imagination...
