Leah Fondelheit writes the following about A Wrinkle in Time :
A Wrinkle in Time is about how good versus evil; hatred versus love. The main characters in this book were Mrs. Who, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Which, Meg, and Charles Wallace that represented good (love) and It and the red-eyed man represented evil (hatred). This book is very much like the Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Pottery as they too fight the battle of good vs. evil.

I rated this book a 5 because even though I liked the good beating the bad it was difficult to follow the story. I'm also not a big fan of science fiction type stories. I believe the book could have been more interesting if it was easier to follow and had some illustrations in the book. Illustrations can help the reader understand what the writer is trying describe. I also enjoyed how strong Meg was and how she was able to overcome dangerous situation. I don't think I would changed the ending because I liked that good won over evil and Meg was reunited with their father.
