maegan writes the following about Number the Stars :

I found this to be a great book. This is becuase the charcters personalities really shine through. You can relate to the characters such as annmaries curiosity when she finds out her aunt is not real so therfore she cannot be dead. Also it gives great information about the Holocaust and what people in this time peroid might have to had gone though.
