Lyndsay R. writes the following about Laura Ingalls Wilder :
The Iowa Story basically states what Laura Ingalls Wilder did not include in all of her books. She thought that the years she lived in Iowa were not very important and it wasnt part of her and her family's journey moving west. Also they were forced to live in Iowa because of the grasshopper plagues. Therefore she had not written about her life in Iowa. This book talks about her parents, sisters, and daughter, Rose Wilder Lane. It recognizes her life living in the Masters Hotel and her friends in Burr Oak Iowa. I gave this book a five because i did not find it very interesting besides the fact that she lived in another state that no one knew she had lived in. There were not many illustrations in this book but there were pictures of Laura and her family in Iowa. I would recommend this book if you like to learn about the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder.
