Kristi Kozlowski writes the following about A Wrinkle in Time :

When Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin find out that Mr.Murry is being help captive by IT, they tesser to the planet Camazotz. Working together with with the three immortal W ladies, they rescue Mr. Murry. Meanwhile Charles Wallace is being controlled by IT because he had been hypnotized. Although Calvin bravely tries to save him,he does not succed Obviously it is now up to Meg, who is his sister to do so.In the end love defeats hatred as everyone returns safely to Earth.
