LaLa writes the following about Crash :

Crash by Jerry Spinelli is a wonderful book. It is about a boy named Crash Coogan who gets a new next door neighbor. He is a little dorky kid. He and his family are Quakers which means that they don't believe in violence or anything like that. Then Crash gets a new best friend. But before all of that the Quaker boy,Penn, wants Crash to come over for dinner. Crash refuses at first but then he softens up and decides he will come. When Crash gets there he discovers that they are vegetarians. He also sees that Penn doesn't have any real toys. He just has an old bent up wooden wagon. I'm not going to tell you the whole story because you will just have to figure it out for yourself.
