I belive everyone should read this book everyone should enjoy this book if read.Jesse and Leslie meet when Leslie beats him in a race.Jess had practiced all summer and wanted to when so bad but, when he diddnt it all went down hill,and then Leslie came along and made it go up hill again.Then they became friends and, Lesalie helped Janice Avery AKA bully in the school. Janice Averys dad beat her and when jess and leslie spoiiled her day she cried in the rest room.then it comes down to the end a sad and inspiring part, its very terible but happy to .
