Daniel writes the following about The Cay :

It was about a kid on a boat that got torpedode.The kid got hit in the with apiece of wood.It made him go blinde.When he woke up he heard a west Indian.They were on a raft. After a few days they landed on an island.The The Indian made some ropes so the kid could fined his way around the island.The Indian taught him how to fish without your eyes.Then a huricane came and killed the Indian.So the kid was all alone.A week later some people on boats came and saved him.They fixed his eyes and he could see.He went home and tried to have a normal life.
