The book Romiette and Julio by Sharon M. Draper is about a girl named Julio Montague who meets a boy Romiette Cappelle. She feels as though she met the soul mate. Who can rescue her returning nightmare about water and fire. (Her greatest fears). But like the Shakespearean characters whose name echo's there's Romiette and Julio discover that not everyone approves their relationship. In their case it is because Romiette is an African American teen and Julio is Hispanic. The Devil-Dogs, a dangerous local gang violently opposes their interracial relationship. When the Devil-Dogs threaten to teach Romiette and Julio a lesson. Romiette and Julio come up with a risky plan to escape from the gang's fearsome shadow. But things go terribly wrong, and the two find themselves caught up in a deadly struggle. To avoid the tragic fate of drowning. At the end their parents set a search for them and find them sleeping together on the ground. Finally everything is turning around cause they catch the whole gang and the two families are finally getting along. There is nothing to worry about now, not even cultural differences. This is a really good book if you like love and romance, or you believe in horoscopes.
