Robert Polk writes the following about Hiroshima The Story of the First Atom Bomb :
I read the book Hiroshima The Story of the First Atom Bomb. This is a very interesting and educational book. It describes how the first atom bombs were made and where they were dropped. One of the bombs was called Little Boy and was dropped on Hiroshima. The effects were horrible. Radiation poisoning and scorching heat destroyed everything. Almost 70,000 people died immediately on impact. It was the biggest explosion at that time. The effects still haunt the victims after the war with birth defects and radiation poisoning. This book is very powerful and I encourage the reading of it.
