The book It's not easy being mean by Lisi Harrison is One of the best book in The Clique series. This book is about five awsome girls known as The Pretty Committee.In this book, the girls are in the search of the key that will unlock a secret room in the eigth grade wing at OCD. The scavenger hunt is led by Skye Hamilton the eigth grade alpha. Skye gave The Pretty Committee and the ramdom OCD girls a CD-ROM giving instructions on how to find the key. Then the girls started to look for the key. they went to every single boy's house skye have kiissed and looked under their mattress. Massie kicked claire out of the pretty committee because she lied about cam's uncle.then layne and claire found the key and they told massie that they have the key and if she wants it she would have to do the things that claire and layne would tell her. massie agreed with those things and finally got the key.
