Keeper Mal Peet This is a book about a famous goal keeper named el gato. He is telling his life story on how came from being a poor kid in a logging community in south Americas rain forest. He was taught the game by a ghostly tutor in a cleared out part of the forest. He must also leave school and spend all his free time supporting his family by working as a logger. He then joins a recreation team with his co-workers. His skills are quickly recognized. His life just gets better from then on. I would give thsbooka10 out of 10. This book can help show young soccer players that they can go big playing soccer just like el gato in the Keeper. The people I would recommend this book to is anyone 12-18 years of age who plays soccer. I liked this book and I think you will to
