Leanne writes the following about Hope Was Here :

Hope Was Here is a great book! It has great characters,even the main character Hope. Hope Was Here is about a 16 year old girl named Hope that lives with her aunt named Addie, and is a waitress. Her and Addie moved to Wisconsin to a apartment on top of the new diner they are working at the Welcome Stairways. There they meet G.T the owner who has leukemia and is a widdow.They also meet Baverman and a bunch of other people. I think yuou should read this book to find out more.
