Ashley writes the following about Freak the Mighty :

I have read Charlotte Doyle and that book was amazing and so was Wrinkle in Time and Running out of Time however this book beats every book I have read in my life and that's about a hundred each year or more. Anyway this book is amazing. A few people die or get sick but unlike most books he doesn't make it too hard. My grandfather died recently. . . :( however this book didn't make it that hard on me and I was afraid it was but it was so good I didn't want to put it down. It's amazing. It's not that scary either. I don't like scary books and I read at night before I go to bed and this book was amazing. I read for 1-2 hours and didn't want to put it down however I almost fell asleep reading it so I took a break but this book is superb. I'm amazed that I liked this book. I had it in my room for a little bit and it didn't look like "my type" of book but I picked it up and read a page or two and couldn't put it down. If you like to read or even don't like to read I suggest you buy this book and start reading it now! Make sure you buy the second book because you will DEFINETLY want the second book to the sequel. I did. I bought it right after because I REALLY wanted the second book and it's just as good so far. In only one day a little less than an hour I am on page 66. This book is awesome! I love it! You should check it out for sure!!
