Sam writes the following about The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodle :

I loved reading the Whangdoodle book! It was so amazing. I loved when Lindy was kidnapped by the Splintercat and the Prock, and when the Jolly Boat set sail. Especially when the children ordered ice cream from the soda fountain on the Jolly Boat.
