Garfield Girl writes the following about The Girl Who Owned a City :
This was an amazing book. I couldn't put it down. In the book a mysterious disease spreads around the world that eliminates all the adults. Thus, the children have to learn how to survive on there own. One girl show great leadership, strength and courage. While other children steal and form gangs to survive, she uses her mind to take care of not only herself but her younger brother and some of her neighbors. She convinces her neighborhood to work together to keep from getting robbed from gangs. She also uses her head to find food and live in piece. I would recommend it to everyone. :)
