Malinda writes the following about Such a Pretty Girl :

Meredith's father is returning from jail after only 3 years instead of 9 years. He was put in jail because he molested children. Meredith is furious and scared, her mom has a different idea and forgives her father and believes that families should stick together and doesn't agree or help her daughter at all. Meredith goes to her boyfriends house after her father arrives. When she returns her father is angry and wants to know where she had been. Meredith remembers how her father had been before all the bad things had happened, Meredith acts cold toward her father and ignores him but she is also scared that he would probably start molesting children again. With the help of her friend an ex-police officer she sacrifices herself and puts her father back in jail for life this time.
