Daisy writes the following about The Trumpet of the Swan :
Do you like the wilderness? If you don’t, then at the end of this book review of Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White, you will be a camping lover! Now let me tell you the summary of this book. Sam, a kind boy, found Louis, a peculiar kind-hearted swan, while walking in the wilderness. Poor Louis then found out he could not speak. His father assured him, “ It comes naturally!” His father, (kind of a showoff) stole a trumpet. So Louis, the very intelligent swan, flew from city to city to pay for the trumpet and to save his father’s reputation! Will Louis succeed? Read the book!
I think the author’s technique is to really make feel the victory of the characters’ emotional feelings. I recommend this book for all ages because it is so heartwarming! I will give this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the inspirational moral that if you work hard you will suceed. Another book by E.B. White is Charlotte’s Web. Now that you know about this extraordinary book, you should better fly by and get it!
