In this book, there are four best friends. Their names are; Avery Madden, Maeve Kaplan-Taylor, Charlotte Ramsey, and Katani Summers. They’re so close they call them themselves, “The Beacon Street Girls.”
In a difficult time, they think it is all going to end. The only reason though is because of the new girl, Isabel Martinez. Suddenly, she acts like she’s part of the beacon street girls club, but the girls don’t like it. So the girls consider her as “The Fifth Wheel,” which is kind of saying, we don’t like you.
Then, after the girls get to know her, the girls start to like her, and accept her as a Beacon Street Girl. Then a paper named: The Sentinel, is asking for more writers. Everyone made something for the Sentinel try-outs, but suddenly Charlotte doesn’t want to try out. Before anyone could see it, Isabel put it in for Charlotte.
After this very long week, Charlotte’s dad, Mr. Ramsey, wants to move to England. He only wants to move there because Oxford College is offering him a job. The Beacon Street Girls want to stop it. What will happen? Will Charlotte move or stay, or will she get on the Sentinel paper without knowing it? What will happen next?
