Eamonn Amro writes the following about Talking in whispers :
The book Talking In Whispers tells a story about a man called Andres Laretta.sixteen year old Andres becomes a wanted man, a prime target of the security forces. To bee seen with others is to put them in deanger. In the story His friend Harico gets killed by the CNI(CNI are the secret police form the military junta)and his father juan gets taken away by them to the house of laughter. later on in the story Andres finds two friends who are twins called Isa and Beto- their stubbornes and courage match Andress..They risk thier lifes to help him.The setting is, some time between the present and the future. The book is a skillful blend of fact and fiction, this tense political thriller makes compulsive reading.it is exciting ,gritty and grim.i think this book would perticuly appeal to people who like reading thriller and army books.
