Gem writes the following about Talking in Whispers :

This book is rubbish, it does not make sense and its a very boring story. I would not reccomend this book to anyone. Its a boring story about the civil was. The main character is Andres who is 16. His dad got killed by the chilie police. Andres has pictures Of People getting tortured by the police in chilie and in the end the goverment see the pictures and Chilie is free, but its a boring story, one of those books you wouldnt want to finish if you had a choice!
