Kate writes the following about Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul :

This book is just about many different people dealing with problems in their lives. It is a book that tells stories about emotional problems such as love and heartbreaks and life problems too such as school and friends. This book is made for teenagers mostly and it shows you how hard life could be. It helps you feel better about yourself knowing that there are other people out there in the world dealing with the same problems as you are. When I read this book I felt a lot better about myself and I knew I could do whatever my heart tells me to do. It taught me to focus on the good things in life not just the bad.
