Tinsae Sisay writes the following about The Giver :

I think the author wrote this book to show as about a perfect world. If all people like in the book follow the rules it would be possible for a perfect world. In the book everybody is the same and they have no worries. Everything is in control. They are living a perfect life with no pain, war and fear. Ireally liked this book cause it taught me that it is true that there can be a utopia.
