calum Crichton writes the following about Marley and Me :
Marley is just about as a bad as a dog as you can get. He ate jewelry, flung drool on guest, crashed through screen doors, and so much more. That’s why I loved this book, Marley and Me so much. All of Marley’s naughty behavior was so funny. Marley and Me is such a great book because the plot is so unpredictable, a character, Marley is so naughty and the authors writing style is full of imagery. One reason I liked this book was because the plot is so unpredictable. You can never predict what Marley is up to next. Whenever everything is going just fine and you think it’s going to stay like that Marley will turn around and destroy something. An example is, “That’s when it happened. All we knew was that one instant we were sitting at a lovely outdoor table toasting the beautiful day, and the next our table was on the move, crashing its way through the sea of the other tables…I saw that it wasn’t our table that was haunted, but our dog. Marley was out in front, chugging forward.” A character in this book, Marley, is very naughty. He is always up to something bad and ruining it. Marley eats nearly everything, flings drool on guests, crashes through screen doors and so much more. An example of Marley being bad is, “I finally got around to replacing the ripped porch screen, and Marley, by now quite accustomed to his self-made dogging door, promptly dove through it again.” The author’s writing style is full of imagery. When the author uses vivid imagery I can practically paint a picture or a movie in my mind because of all the descriptive words he uses. The author uses similes, active verbs and lots more to show imagery. A part from the book that the author uses imagery is, “Marley was out in front, chugging forward with every ounce of rippling muscle he had, the leash stretched tight as a piano wire.” I loved this book, Marley and Me so much because all of Marley’s naughty behavior was so funny. I would probably rate it a 9 out of 10. I think you should get the book, Marley and Me, read it, and hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. If you ever get a chance to read this book you should make a smart decision if you ever decide to get a dog. They might end up as naughty as Marley.
