I didn’t see that coming. This book was about the Baudelaire orphans moving to their Uncle Monty’s. They finally feel like they’re home while they’re living there. Then their lives changed forever. When Uncle Monty’s assistant, Stefano comes to Uncle Monty’s for the trip to Peru the trouble begins. Since Uncle Monty owns a bunch of venomous snakes he has some problems sometimes. The problem was someone killed Uncle Monty!
I liked this book because it was unpredictable. It kept me in suspense since the third chapter. I liked the first book so I thought the second would be better.
I’d recommend this book to everyone if I could. If I gave it a rating out of 10. I would give it a 10 out of 10. I give it this because the first book was a 9.5 and the second book is way better than the first. There are a lot of surprises that I couldn’t figure out until the book answered them. Plus there is a mystery not solved in this book that I think you know about. If you like books that are unpredictable, at times scary, murder mysteries and books that are in series. This book is the right book or you.
