I gave the book Nightjohn by Gary Paulsen a rating of a 7 because it was not a fulfilling book. The book had lots of detail but not enough pizzazz. It was a little too straight forward for me, kinda sounded like a list. But all in all it was a great book and had good descriptions and detals. The illustration was not one of my favorite. I mean it was good, and the cover did make sense with the book, but it could have been better. For example there were other parts of the story that could have made a better cover.
