Tori Mccraw writes the following about The Notebook Girls :
The Notebook Girls is a non-fiction book. It is about four friends who decided to make a notebook and keep it throughout high school. It is a real life situation. The girls go to Stuyvesant High school. Their names are Julia, Lindsey, Sophie, and Courtney. They talk about how life is for them in high school. They talk about personal life stories and how they grow up as teenagers. Sophie claims that she stole the notebook idea from two girls in her math class, courtney still will not give up the thought that she started the notebook,Lindsey says that she does not really care she just writes in it for fun, and Julia never knows whats going on. They started the notebook in the middle of their freshman year in high school. The notebook was a way of keeping contact with each other. They added pictures and decorated most of the pages they wrote on. They say that the notebook allowed them to express themselves and that it provides and atmosphere of thoughts and feelings. It was wrote to make you laugh and to share their experience in high school and how they become best friends over two years.
