Kia writes the following about The Magic of Laven-Rock :
This the other book that I got for Christmas this year. The Magic of Laven-Rock is about a monster that comes to a village and tries to eat all their magic, and drink all their water and destroy their land. The Prince and the Princess decide to go out and stop the monster. The Prince wants to fight the monster, but the Princess decides to talk the monster into being nice. I like this story because the Princess is better at doing things than the Prince. I like the fact that it is all about friendship. The village is realy cool. It has a lot of magical things. There are fairies and other kind of magical people. In the end the monster turns into a handsome boy, but no one kisses anyone. I like this book enough to read it again. It was fun and the pictures were great. I felt like I could touch them. They jumped out of the page, sort of.
