I think its very depressive book which takes a lot of attention to the reader.Its about Johns life and when you read you see the facts of life,the agony of John.I think you should read this book to learn that you could have a worser parents who torture you and makes you to live in your own head alone.Dont think that people dont you,if you dont even ask whether they know you or not how can you get a result.(like John didn't ask and regret ,his mother knows him)
