"Esperanza Rising" is a book that takes place during the american great deppression in the 1930's. It's based on the struggles of a 13 year old girl who was born and raised as a pampereed rich girl who barely new the value of a dollar. This book takes you along with her through her tragic life changing expierences,for example in the story she has to move to Mexico and work in labor camp and work for her self,after her mom gets sick and is on the verge of death she struggles to maintain her self and her mother. I'am not much of a reader but this book kept me wanting more. Hi,i'am katya and this was my book talk.
