Yonna writes the following about A Child Called :

This book is so amazing. I had to do a book report and i read the back of the book and immidiately said this is the one i want. This book is about a child named David who was tormented by his alcholic mother. I can't beleive someone would actuelly do that. This book is heartwarming book about a boy that made it out of one of the most abusive cases in California history. When his dad tried to help him get food his mother usually made him stick his finger down his throat and made him puke.
