Patricia writes the following about Mr. Poppers Penguins :
I read Mr. Poppers Penguins.Mr Popper was a house painter and it was the end of summer.Mr. Popper was off for the whole winter. While Mr. Popper was reading polar exploration. When he heard the doorbelland it was Admiral Drake. He dropped off a big box.Mr. Popper was speechless with delight. The penguin was not speechless."Ork" It said The next time the penguin held out it's flippers and jumped over the couch. It was a little about a feet high.Although It was the size of a small child. It looked more like a small man then a child. With it's smooth white waistcoat in front and it's long black tailcoat dragging a little behind. It's eyes were set in two white circles in it's black head. His eyesexamined Mr.Popper. I think kids will like this book because I liked it and I think other kids will likr it too.I give it a two thumbs up.
