This story is about a girl named Grace Bedell. Her and her family want Abraham Lincoln to win president. Grace has never seen Abe before until her father brings her a poster. Grace thinks he would look better with some "Whiskers", so she thinks it would be a good idea to send him a letter. He doesn't get the letter for a while but when he does, he decides to come visit this Grace Bedell.
