This is a great book in this seris!
When Jenny the main character walks into middle school hoping her BFF will help her get through the stress of middle school.But, her friend Addie has made new friends during the summer when Jenny was away at sleep away camp.
Addie ignored her alot and not acted like herself.
Jenny tried to fix everything about her self. She changed to appearance too look more "cool" but Addie still ignored her.
When Jenny wanted to eat lunch with Addie she had already saved spots for her other friends. Which made Jenny sit in the phone booth, library and other places because she had no one to sit with. Then
Jenny made some new friends and ate lunch with them.

This is a great book, be sure to read the other ones like madame president, I heard a rumor and much more.
