Ed writes the following about The Boston Balloonies :
These collorful, balloon-shaped masters of fun lead young readers on a rollicking romp through the streets, parks, and landmarks of Boston. The book uses rhyme, rhythm and whimsical illustrations to generate energy and laughter . . . "The Boston Balloonies float all over town/They whirl and they twirl and they bounce up and down/With a whee and a whoosh and a swoop and a swish/They go swooping and swishing wherever they wish." The book ends with a bit of advice . . . "In Boston you must watch the people you meet/You just never know who may float down the street/If they whirl and they twirl and their colors are bright/You may guess who they are and, my friend, you'll be right!" No one has more fun than the Balloonies -- except maybe the kids and parents who read about them. This book is great for kids from 2 1/2 to 7 years of age. I should know. I wrote it!
