No More Dead Dogs is about a reluctent, jock, football "hero" named Wallace Wallace who can't tell lies. While he is in one of his classes their teacher Mr.Fogelman asks them to write a "Book Review" on the story "Ol Shep My Pal" Wallace in his book review tells the teacher in words that he dispises the book and hates it so much that the best part in the book was when it said "The End"! Mr Fogelman sends Wallace Wallace to DETENTION because Mr. Fogelman loved the book when he was younger so he says until you write a proper review on the story you have detention in the gym! When he walks to the gym the play at their school is "Ol Shep My Pal"! So Wallace desides that he should help the play since Mr. Fogelman cant keep the kids at practice (literally). They First showed up with 15 than 13 now they only have 10! While Wallace Wallace is helping bad things start happening to the play! Like someone paints "Ol Shep Dead Mutt" on the scenery! Lots of people blame wallace wallace but he says no! Then the next thing is that some sets up something that BLACK PEPPER falls on the whole cast. Lots of people like Rachel Turner think wallace wallace did it but trudi davis has a huge crush on wallace wallace so she wont tell on him still rachel turner thinks wallace wallace did it even though ihe says no! While wallace wallace helps with the play he adds mopeds and roller blading!! Read the book to see what happens to wallace, rachel turner, Mr. Fogelman, and trudi davis!! Will they save the play??
