Hannah/Hannah montana writes the following about Bud, Not Buddy :

Okay this book is about a ten year old boy name Bud and he lived in a foster home cause his mother died and then one day he got adopted my a white women and her last name was Mrs.Amos and her son was very mean to him and her son was twelve years old and another little boy got adopted and his name was Jerry and he was gonna have three sisters.So Bud got adopted and he wanted to make a first impression and his brother Todd would always make Bud get in trouble with his mom so one day Buds foster mom locked him up in the garage or the attic so bud left his house where he lived and he wanted to get Todd back for the things he did to him and he left very quiet and he was looking through his suitcase and he looked at these fliers and saw a band and he had a clue that the leader of that band was his father so he was walking and he saw one of the lines that fed people that didn't have no food so he saw a family and they thought that he was there son but it wasn't but he ate with that family and he was going to a bus stop/or a train station and he met a guy there and he told the guy that he ran away from grand raqids and then he was on his way over to Owossow and then when they were there they went to Lewis house and then Scott wife gave him fresh clothes and let Bud take a shower then they went down stairs to eat a huge breakfeast that Scott wife made and his daughter made and they made pancakes,hash browns,bacon and they drank orange juice and then the guy was taking Bud Flint,Michigan and went into a place and saw six men sitting in a circle and he saw his dad and he was fat and his hair was shaved and then he was keep on looking at Herman E.Calloway and then he met his dad and he said that Herman is his dad so every body was looking at him and he went home with Herman and then the next day his dad had a gig and where he was gonna have it had to be clean so Bud did it for him and then after the gig Miss Thomas and Herman got in a arguement and then Miss Thomas asked Bud are you sure your mom's Last name is Caldwell and he said yes so then they figured it out and Bud is Herman E.Calloway Grandson so thats how this story ends..
