Criddy. writes the following about The Magician's Nephew (Chronicles of Narnia, Book 1) :
The Magicians Nephew is a fantasy story book about a girl named Polly and a boy named Digory. Digory lived with his sick mother and uncle. His uncle was hiding someting in the attic. Digory and Polly made friends and decided to explore. Polly's idea was to explore the house next door but one. The found out they could cut through the attics as they are all attached. Instead of going to the empty house they ended up in Uncle Andrews house. Unfortunatly for them, Uncle Andrew was in his attic at the time and shows Polly and Digory a tray of brightly coloured rings. He used one on Polly, it was magic and sends her away to another world!
This is the exciting story of how Aslan brings Narnia to life and how evil enters into Narnia with the witch!
I would rate this story 6.7 because it was'nt very fascinating to me and i missed some due to my holiday. I would rate the illistrations 7.5 as they were very detailed and helped me imagine the story better. Overall i give this story 8 out of 10!
