Frazer Francis writes the following about The Magician's Nephew :
The Magicians Nephew really inspired me to read more books and started to let me enjoy reading. The layout of the book was well presented and the rememorable characters are still in my head.
The Magicians Nephew is about magic and how magic can take you to places you would never have known of.In this case, the place is Narnia and another world (you'll find out the name of it if you read the book!) The main character for me is a boy called Digory as he is sent to a magical world to find a lost girl.he goes through many situations such as saving Narnia and many more!..........

I rated the story-plot 8.5 because some if the scenes or parts of the story lacked in action for me.As well as this there is good views like the texture and the words in the story and the exciting plots. There were also a variety of cliffhangers in the story obiously to make you to read on but they were used very cleverly. They were'nt alwasys at the end of the chapter instead they were scattered around the less action packed parts that normally you get bored of after a while.

I rated the illustrations 9 because if you had a book with pictures in like I did the detail was at a high standard and every part was acurate and to scale.

So,in conclusion i would rate the whole book personally a 9 because the pictures suited the desription in the text and the story kept me on wanting to read it.
