Hanna_Lane_7Y3 writes the following about the magicians nephew :
The Magician's Nephew is a magical fantasy adventure book. The book isn't just for females or males anyone can read it. It is mostly read by people aged nine and over. In the story there are the main characters. These characters are Polly and Digory; these two are next door neighbours, and they are the child heroes. There is mean Uncle Andrew and the evil Witch, these two are the villans. The last of the main characters is a very special lion. He is called Aslan. In the story Uncle Andrew is a magician and he gives the children some magic rings. The rings help the children to travel to different worlds. On their adventure they meet talking animals, the Evil Witch and Aslan the special lion. I think the book is good because the adventure is very exciting, and when you start reading it you want to carry on. There are parts in the book where it is magical, and the description has been done very well. The only bad thing in the book are the long, old fashioned sentences that were hard to understand. I rated this book an 8.5 because i thought it was very enjoyable eccept the long, hard to understand sentences. I rated the illustrations a 0 because there weren't any. I would reccomend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy and adventure. This is because I think they would enjoy it as much as I did.
