Abi Roissetter writes the following about The Magician's Nephew (Chronicles of Narnia, Book 1) :
The Magician's Nephew is a fantasy story full of magic and adventure suitable for all ages to read. It is about the creation of a new world and how two best friends- Digory and Polly find themselves in the middle of it, bringing evil with them. This new world is no longer perfect. The Magician's Nephew has a strong link with Christianity which helps you to understand the plot. I rated it 9 because it is an exciting and interesting story which is very imaginitive and descriptive. You get the different characters' points of view on certain events. In my opinion there are no bad points about this book. I think C.S Lewis was an extremely good writer and this book is a very good introduction to the "Chronicles of Narnia" series. I found it very enjoyable to read and I would definitely read it again.
