Petaa-Louu writes the following about The Magician's Nephew (Chronicles of Narnia, Book 1) :
The Magicians Nephew is about Polly and Digory, who jouney by magic to other worlds, after Digorys horrible uncle tricks them. While venturing into one of the new places, Polly and Digory stumble across a world conquering witch who wants to rule where the children came from, but ends up having her plan ruined.
I quite liked the Magicians Newphew because it had lots of adventure, and you never knew what would happen next.
I did not like the amount of description and a lot of the words were difficult to understand and I did not know what some of them meant!
I think that people from 7-15 would like this story, but only if they enjoy fantasy or adventure stories.
I also thought that most of the illustraitions were good, and that colouring them in would have ruined them.
Overall it was a very good book and I liked it.
